From our President:

Time is coming to a close for the present cabinet of Lion Officers. We have had lots of fun times this year. Also we have been involved with many functions raising money for our different organizations that we sponsor. We sponsor Boy Scouts, Sea Scouts, give to organizations that request from our Lions Club. We have many fund raisers such as our White Cane Day in October, Christmas Tree Lot in December, Nicene Marks marathon in June and our Lion's Football Game. With the generous help from our Community, we raise funds to help out those organizations.

We also go on trips, such as City of Hope, Conventions twice a year. We have Flag Day, giving out flags to the school kids, Student Speaker events, Scholar Athletes are honored every year. We are so busy with lots of events.

We are having our 80 year Anniversary this year. A special time for our Santa Cruz Host Lions Club. This year our 80 year Anniversary and installation is June 27 at the Chaminade in Santa Cruz.

Please come and honor us with your presence at our Luncheons which are at the Santa Cruz Elks Club, 160 Jewell St, Santa Cruz, every Thursday. Please come and see what a great Lions Club we have!!

Santa Cruz Host Lions are business, professional, and retired men and women dedicated to making the Santa Cruz community a better place in which to live.

Santa Cruz Host Lions support the community's visual and auditory impaired, its youth and the organizations that serve them.

Santa Cruz Host Lions enjoy weekly lunches with guest speakers, family barbecues, conventions, cruises on Monterey Bay, visits to neighboring Lions clubs, holiday parties, group trips, and more!

Santa Cruz Host Lions meet for lunch and laughs at noon each Thursday at the Santa Cruz Elks Club, 150 Jewel Street, Santa Cruz. If you are a member of good standing in the community, and would like to donate a few hours of your time to make the community a better place in which to live, while having a great time working side by side with great people, the Lions would like to buy you lunch.
