Message from our President:

Dear Fellow Lions,

I am pleased to announce that we will now be meeting once a month in the evening as opposed to our regular noon meeting time at the Elks Lodge. This is scheduled for the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Live Oak Grange Hall. We had our first evening meeting this past Thursday. It went really well! It was the Zone Student Speaker Contest, so the format was slightly different than usual, but it was very good to see a few faces of members that cannot typically attend the day time meetings. We plan to continue this evening meeting pilot program with a return to our regular meeting structure next month. Next month’s evening meeting will be held on Thursday April 11th. Cost is $5/person. Hope to see you all there and please invite family, friends & significant others as guests! I also plan to extend the invitation to other clubs in our area.

Also, the 4-C6 Convention is fast approaching ~ dates are May 8th-11th. Because of this we will not be holding any meeting on Thursday May 9th.

The Santa Cruz Host Lions Club will be meeting at the Grange Hall on the second Thursday evening of each month...

Where: Live Oak Grange Hall - 1900 17th Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95062
When: From 6:30 until 8:00 PM

All other weekly meetings will continue at the Elks Lodge on Thursdays at noon.

There will be no meeting on May 9th!
