White
Cane Day
Lions are recognized worldwide for
their service to the blind and visually impaired. This service began in 1925
when Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become “Knights of the blind in
the crusade against darkness.”
Each year the Santa Cruz Host Lions conducts a White
Cane Day collection throughout the Santa Cruz Community. 100% of the
monies collected are given back to the community.
