Conventions

The Santa Cruz Host Lions Club participates in three Lions conventions. First is the District 4C-6 convention, which is held in Sacramento and attended by 300 Lions from Redwood City to King City. At District a governor is elected, awards are given to members for outstanding service for the year and much fun is had by all.

Second is the state (California / Nevada) convention which is held annually in different cities of the state and which is attended by approximately 1500 members. Third is the Lions International convention which is attended by 10,000 Lion members. This year International is being held in Hong Kong.
